Sacking the Superbowl

           I completely disagree with the message that Steve Almond is trying to give. Yes I do agree that football is a dangerous sport, and it seems barbaric that millions of people would watch men fight and tackle each other for hours every week. The thing is though that all the players know exactly what they are getting themselves into. Football is like any other dangerous sport, they know the risk before going into each game. So I do not believe that anyone should be judged for watching one of the greatest American sports. Yes there are things that the NFL does that perhaps they should not do, or should not be able to do, but we as fans should not be the ones trying to stop them. We should be able to sit back on Sundays and watch our favorite teams play with friends and family.
